1. The standard we build to
The site is built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. That is the level required by IS 17802 Part 1, the Bureau of Indian Standards adoption of EN 301 549, which the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 points to.
2. What that means on this site
- Text meets a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1 against its background.
- Every link, button and field can be reached by keyboard and shows a visible focus ring.
- Each page has a skip link, labelled landmarks and a single, ordered heading structure.
- Animation stops when your device is set to reduce motion, and all content stays visible.
- The revenue leak assessment announces each answer in words, and moves focus to the results when they appear.
- Forms have visible labels, mark required fields in words, and list any errors at the top with links to each field.
- Pages reflow to 320px wide and remain usable at 200% zoom.
3. Known limitations
